Belly of the Dancer
By Dr-Spy

Belly dancing had been a hobby of Sheila’s for many years. She had read every book and watched every tape on belly dancing. She even worked at a club that featured belly dancing as the main attraction. But that was six years ago.
Sheila was now working in a mall bookstore (Reading was another hobby of hers). Sheila had long, dark beautiful hair, and a gorgeous face to match. She was also 5’6 and had a tan complexion. She was 167 lbs heavier than she was six years ago. Now weighing in at about 300 lbs., her former famous belly sloshed past her thighs and almost past her knees (Her measurements were 72-89-98). She was so huge, that she could barely move behind the counter without her massive thunder thighs, butt, or big, round, gut knocking into something. Through it all, she didn’t mind her weight. As long as she was reading and/or eating, she didn’t care. She was happy, yet, she missed her career as a belly dancer.
One Thursday, a new shipment of books came in. One of the books was entitled “Belly of the Dancer”, a book detailing the art of belly dancing. Intrigued, she ceased what she was doing and began reading (And eating a triple patty deluxe she picked up from the food court). She then began to remember the endless hours she belly danced at Club Belly-Flop. She missed the cheers, the oohs, the ahhs; she missed it all. She looked at her watch to see that her shift was over. She bought the book and decided to pick up some Dunkin’ Donuts on the way home.
After her repast, she continued reading. She then stood up in front of the mirror, and let her belly hang ALL the way out of her jeans. She then began a simple belly-dance. It was a marvelous sight. It swayed with the uncertainty of it ever stopping. It was still jiggling after she stopped moving. “I forgot how fun and relaxing this was”, she said. She then stripped down to her bra and thong to see her body in full motion. It was mesmerizing (Imagine a jello mold in the shape of a bbw). “I can’t believe that after all these years, I’ve still got it. Hmmmm… This gives me an idea!”
Luckily for Sheila, she was off the next few days. She decided to go back to Club Belly-Flop and asked for old job. “I don’t know, Sheila” proclaimed Tina, the owner of Club Belly-Flop.
“Please! For old time’s sake?!?” begged Sheila.
“Well, we have been looking for something unique to bring in more people. You might just be what we’re lookin’ for. Welcome back Sheila!”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You won’t regret this, I swear!”
“I don’t think I will.”
Later that night, Sheila arrived for work a half hour early. All of her old friends were there. At first, they didn’t recognize her, but when they did, they were all happy to welcome her back. They spent the rest of the half-hour catching up. Before Sheila knew it, it was time to go on. When she stepped out from behind the curtain in an “I Dream of Jeanie” outfit, the room fell silent immediately. She pretended they weren’t there and began dancing a dance she learned from her new book. The crowd eyes couldn’t take their eyes off her. As her belly, (And her breasts and butt) swished from side to side, so did everyone’s head. When she was done, she was given a standing ovation from everyone in the room. She received more applause that night than ever before. When it was her shift was over, Tina came over.
“I guess bigger is better. Keep up the good work.”
“Thanks!”
Sheila thought about what Tina had said. If bigger was better, than she would become the biggest there was. Bigger meant more money for food and books.
Eight months passed. All the belly dancers had begun to gain weight. No dancer weighed less than 200 lbs. Even Tina was heavier (She weighed at least 250 lbs). They danced to a full house every night. Sheila had begun gaining weight as well. She was now 624 lbs (She was usually wearing a thong and the occasional bra). She quit her job at the bookstore and concentrated on belly dancing.  When she wasn’t dancing, she was eating (And growing).
1 year later: Finally, after a night of dancing, she realized she wasn’t as flexible. “Perhaps I’m too big”, she thought. “Nah! Can’t be.”
2 weeks passed and she finally had to give up her job.  She was immobile (She weighed about 155,000 lbs. or more. She was as big as a school. Her current measurements were 150ft-187ft-220ft). Clothes didn’t fit her anymore. Her previous 300 lb. body was now magnified by 100.  “I’m so huge! Yet, I must eat more!” Sheila continued gaining. The more she ate, the happier she was. The happier she was, the more she ate (And fatter she became). Where would it end? Only her appetite knew for sure (Or did it?) One thing was for sure: She truly was the biggest AND best belly dancer of all.

END…? (Perhaps…)
Here's a short story I wrote about a picture by :iconkoudelka2005: entitled "Ex-Bellydancer". I liked it so much, I had to write about it. Check it out. Who knows, maybe I'll write a sequel or something.

Quite nice, though I suspect the last part is a parody.

Thanks, but it's been so long since I wrote this, I have to ask what you think it's a parody of, since I myself can't remember. Haha!

Ohhh. I think it was just to show a passage of time. Looking back, I think I just ran out of ideas for what to do next with the characters.
